CHOPTONES FEND PBS - RIG LIBRARY FOR TH-U
The AB165 model is something of a transition between a normal mid-'60s Blackface and the later Silverface Bassman* amps and is considered the best-sounding model of the series. While created for electric bass, these really shine as clean, soaring guitar amps. A Strat or Tele plugged into the "normal" (guitar) channel instantly brings that classic '60s chime.
Choptones had the chance to capture an original 1967 Bassman* unit: the library includes 81 rigs created with multiple speakers, microphones and overdrive pedal setups*:

TH-U is the first amp simulator to include both amp modeling and amp capturing technologies.
These Rig Models are created from real setups! Overloud's proprietary technology captures the response of an entire rig, including the nonlinear and dynamic response of the amplifier, the cabinet, the microphones, the mic preamplifier and the room sound.
The Rig Player, integrated into TH-U, reproduces any nuance of the sampled rigs and will combine the models of different setups.
