Choptones HK Tri MKI is the TH-U expansion library created by Choptones to capture the full tonal spectrum of the iconic six channel Hughes & Kettner TriAmp MkI* head. Known for its exceptional versatility, this amp delivers everything from sparkling clean tones and vintage crunch to modern high-gain saturation. Each of the six independent channels offers distinct voicings, inspired by classic American and British amps, making it a go-to choice for a wide range of genres—from blues and rock to metal and fusion. This library includes 189 expertly profiled IRs, enhanced with multiple cabinet and overdrive pedal combinations, providing THU users with a flexible and authentic recreation of the TriAmp MkI’s sonic character.

OVERLOUD CAPTURING TECHNOLOGY
TH-U is the first amp simulator to include both amp modeling and amp capturing technologies.
These Rig Models are created from real setups! Overloud's proprietary technology captures the response of an entire rig, including the nonlinear and dynamic response of the amplifier, the cabinet, the microphones, the mic preamplifier and the room sound.
The Rig Player, integrated into TH-U, reproduces any nuance of the sampled rigs and will combine the models of different setups.
