Classic Studio Reverbs From the '80s and '90s

There were a huge number of reverb processors created in the 80s and 90s. Still, many of them are practically unknown despite their prevalent use and distinctive sound quality. The Dusty Racks Collection revitalizes those hidden reverb gems and brings them to life in today's modern studios.

Dusty Racks Vol. 3 has been created by capturing six amazingly unique units:

• Yamaha REV5* (88 IRs)
• Lexicon MPX1* (35 IRs)
• Lexicon LXP-15* (49 IRs)
• Roland SRV330* (222 IRs)
• Roland R-880* (76 IRs)
• Boss RV2* (30 IRs)

The included Impulse Responses (IRs) were recorded using Neve and SSL preamps and have been carefully edited to ensure they are consistent throughout the entire library.

A collection of 500 IRs and 200 individual presets—The presets of Dusty Racks Vol. 3 were created during real mixing sessions with a particular focus on vocals, keyboards, synths, drums, and acoustic instruments.

The IRs are divided into two banks: one bank made with single IR presets designed to replicate the original unit's vibe, and a second multi-layer bank where the presets combine two or more IRs from different units layered together. This bank is quite special, and extends the tonal palette creating some really unprecedented reverb spaces.

REmatrix is not required for use—this library includes a free player that allows you to load and use any include IR. For more tweakability, this library can also be loaded and used inside of REmatrix
