Behind all ten is Audio Modeling's SWAM physical modeling, which simulates breath, reed or lip or edge, and pipe as one continuous acoustic event. Breath drives the whole collection: pressure on GeoShred's multi-row grid carries every note for as long as it sounds, so a baritone sax can move from subtone to honk, a horn can open from covered to brassy, and a shakuhachi can condense out of air and dissolve back into it inside a single phrase. GeoShred's continuous pitch surface carries the scoops and falls of the horns and the meend, bends, and glissandi of the flutes as finger motion along a row. Every instrument is monophonic and built for detailed solo phrasing. GeoShred's integrated FX rack, including EchoMT with Looper, Reverb, AmpCab, and Sympathetic Resonator, is part of each instrument's signal chain, and the ten instruments ship with 200 factory presets between them.
